Da Phuoc Landfill -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
	Client: California Waste Solutions Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam The Da Phuoc Landfill is the first landfill in Vietnam to be designed and built to U.S. regulations. Vector provided the design, geotechnical services, and construction quality assurance for Phase 1 of the new landfill. The high ranfall and soft marine clay presented difficult geotechnical issues for landfill design and operations including foundation settlement, slope stability and leachate collection.
Atacama Gas Pipeline -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
	Client: CMS Gas Transmission / Fluor Daniel Chile S.A. Location: Argentina and Chile The Atacama gas pipeline is a 946-km 20-inch pipeline that traverses the top of Argentina and Chile and transports high pressure gas across the Andes Mountains. Vector conducted the Environmental Impact Study and prepared the Environmental Monitoring Plan for the pipeline. Vector also conducted geotechnical and special studies, including archaeological, biological and paleontological studies as well as the preparation of public-awareness materials for special meetings regarding the pipeline and its impact upon the region.
Chaska Bioethanol Project -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
	Client: Chaska Renewable Energies LLC Location: Piura, Perú As part of Vector’s interest in renewable energy resources Vector has been working in Northern Peru for Chaska, a leader in the development of ethanol fuels and electric energy from sugar cane. Vector has provided them with engineering and environmental services since the conception of the project, which included infrastructure siting, development of surface water supply, preliminary groundwater supply, development of a large fresh water supply reservoir, and soils and terrain mapping for agriculture (sugar cane) viability.
