President, CEO

Ron Derammelaere was appointed as PSI's President and Chief Executive Officer in December 2001. He is responsible for the successful strategic leadership of the company, including providing oversight of record growth in annual revenues that averaged fifty percent per year over the last five years. He also directed expansion of PSI's global presence with the opening of an office in Brazil in 2004, and offices in China, Australia and Canada in 2007.

Derammelaere has managed all phases of small to multi-million dollar pipeline engineering projects around the world, from conceptual engineering through design, construction, start-up and commissioning. His technical expertise encompasses process plant and pipeline systems for slurries, ore beneficiation processes, and hazardous waste investigation and remediation. He has also managed numerous economic feasibility studies for slurry transportation systems, process plants, and remediation treatment systems.

Prior to joining PSI in 1995 as Senior Vice President, Pipeline Manager, he held positions at Bechtel (Pipeline and Mining & Metals Divisions) for over 18 years.

Jay Chapman
Senior Vice President

Jay Chapman has over 35 years of experience in the pipeline, automation, and telecommunications fields. He has experience with all phases of design, integration, and construction management of gas, oil, products, ethanol, and slurry pipelines. He has spent several years in the field during construction, commissioning, and start-up on various national and international pipeline, mining and automation projects. He has written papers on pipelines, automation, and telecommunications as well as on various aspects of slurry, paste and thickened tailings design.

Chapman led the establishment of PSI do Brasil, and currently serves as PSI Division's Chief Process Engineer for South America as well as a director of Ausenco do Brasil.

Paul Macy
Senior Vice President, Construction Management

Paul Macy has over 40 years experience in engineering, construction, estimating, and planning in the cross-country pipeline and fiber optic construction industries. Macy has held positions such as project engineer, engineering coordinator, engineering specialist, business development coordinator, cost engineering supervisor, manager of estimating, consultant, and president. Previous positions include Manager of Estimating for Bechtel's Pipeline Division; Assistant to the Managing Director for Neill-Price of London; Project Engineer for multiple pipelines in Iran; and Pipeline Construction Business Development Coordinator for Bredero-Price of Holland.

Macy holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering/Construction Management from Stanford University.

John Ziegler
Chief Financial Officer

John Ziegler was appointed as chief financial officer of PSI in November 2006. He has more than 25 years of experience directing all financial and operational areas, including finance and accounting, customer service, warehousing and shipping, purchasing, information technology, legal, facilities management, research and development, and field communications.

Prior to joining PSI, he worked for GNLD International LLC in Fremont, California where he held the positions of vice president of operations and vice president of finance. His responsibilities included all financial reporting, budgeting, and tax filing for thirty operating units; coordinating the opening of 15 new international markets; recruiting, training and managing directors of operations; initiating international tax and ownership structures; and arranging and managing all international cash and inventory movements. In addition, he has four years of experience auditing with a former big five certified public accounting firm and spent 12 years working and living in Geneva, Switzerland where he gained extensive international business experience.

Ziegler holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from San Jose State University and he is a certified public accountant.

Yueguang Che
Senior Vice President/General Manager, PSI China

Yueguang Che is Senior Vice President and also the General Manager of PSI's China operations. In this role, he is responsible for providing overall leadership, oversight and planning of strategic and day-to-day operations.

He has over 24 years of industrial, multidisciplinary engineering experience in various industries, including mining, electric power development, oil and gas, water supply, water and wastewater treatment. His extensive technical expertise ranges from conceptual design, feasibility studies, EPCM, to operator training, and start-up and commissioning of concentrate and tailings slurry pipelines, as well as thickened tailings and pastes, and dry stacking disposal facilities.

He is PSI's slurry transportation process engineering specialist, which includes slurry pipeline route selection, slurry pipeline hydraulics, slurry laboratory testing, and rheology characterization for mineral concentrates and tailings slurries/pastes. Che serves as PSI?s Chief Process Engineer for China.

He previously held positions at AATA International Inc. in Fort Collins, Colorado and IWHR in Beijing China.

He holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Louisiana Tech University, USA; a Master of Engineering, Hydraulics and Engineering Fluids Mechanics from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China; and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from GS University of Technology, LangZhou, China. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Utah, USA and a Professional Engineer in British Columbia, Canada.

Prior to joining PSI, Hodges held senior management positions for Kerr McGee, Phelps Dodge, Chevron Resources, Stillwater Mining Company and Washington Group. In addition, he spent eight years operating his own consulting company, which specialized in pilot plant testing and plant and process equipment start-up, focusing on flotation and thickening applications, especially high density and paste thickeners.

Don Mewes is the General Manager of PSI Reno where he is responsible for day-to-day operations and strategic planning. He has over 16 years of experience in electrical power, control system design, and implementation.

Mewes is proficient in the design of motor controls and industrial control panels including PLC hardware, relay logic, VFD, Soft-start, and motor contactor panels. He also has experience with the NEC and UL 508A & UL 698A standards.

Prior to joining PSI, Mewes held the position of Project Manager for Applied Industrial Controls.
